The Textile Echoes group revisited Icelandic Textile Centre ( www.Textilsetur.com) in Blonduos on the North coast of Iceland, spending the month of April there. We were joined by several other international textile artists. A month earlier than our previous visit, the weather conditions were different and whilst we were expecting extreme cold, in fact the temperatures meant that a general thaw started early and we were treated to a different aspect of the environment.

During this visit I used a jacquard loom to create responsive work from photographs.
